“Alpha Chi Omega has been the most amazing, beneficial, and rewarding experience of my life so far. These women are my friends, my study partners, my confidants, my movie buddies, and above all, my family. I feel so fortunate to say I am the President of this Chapter. Alpha Chi Omega has truly changed my life. Not only have I gained life experiences, and knowledge assisting me in the future, but I never thought I would enter college with no girlfriends, and leave with 120. I know I could go to any one in my chapter, and they know the same goes for me. I am here for these women to help them succeed, mature, and experience this amazing part of their lives. Just being in this house has made me a stronger person. I have put in so much and have taken just as much away from Alpha Chi Omega. It will help me in the future, the present, and even deal with the past. Alpha Chi Omega has truly helped me reach the heights”

"Coming to UCSB, I didn't know exactly what I wanted to make of my free time. I had always been really involved in a lot of activities in high school, but college would be such a new environment; where would I fit in? The answer came soon after I moved into my freshman dorm. One of the girls on my floor told me that she was going to an sorority orientation meeting for fall rush and suggested that I go with her, and I thought "What do I have to lose?" Each day of rush week and found that not only did I have nothing to lose by rushing a sorority, but I actually had a lot to gain by joining one. Immediately when rush started, I fell in love with one sorority in particular: Alpha Chi Omega. With all of our different interests, beliefs, and talents, Alpha Chi seemed like a perfect fit and I knew that this was the house that I wanted to belong to. I wholeheartedly believe that Alpha Chi is the only place that you will find so many different girls under one roof that share the same bond. It is no wonder that I, like so many have before me, decided to join Alpha Chi and have never looked back."

"During rush, I imagined sorority life as the complete opposite of the life I had thus far lived. Pretty pink ribbons in every girl's hair, the smell of perfume and hairspray, and the stereotypical lingo of 'oh my god' and 'did he really?!' every other sentence. Although the world I imagined does exist, this is not what I have learned the girls of Alpha Chi Omega to be. They may wear matching ribbons in their hair uniformly but while dominating every possible Greek sport. They tease and douse their hair with hairspray but only to match the theme of an out-of-this-world fraternity party. And these girls may use 'oh my god' but to express how excited, upset, or happy they are for a fellow sister. These girls who call themselves Alpha Chis have come to mean so much more to me than I ever intended; they are my best friends, my laughter at inside jokes, my shoulder to cry on, my partners in crime, my listening ears, my inspiration, my dinner dates, my running buddies, my home away from home. Ultimately, they are my everything. The adventures and lack of dull moments we share, the timeless friendships we have individually and together created, and each and every girl since 1965 who preceded us make up this incomparable house that has given, and will continue to give, the college experience sought after by many but only found by Delta Psi Alpha Chis."
